Swissôtel Kursaal Bern

Standard room with atrium view they called it, it was a nice enough room but the view wasn't as much atrium as it was the other window/wall of the other side (2 meters away) of the thinnest part of the atrium. Next time I will try the next room level with an actual view, I tried to ask for an upgrade but the hotel was sold out the next day, I think it will be worth the money to not feel like on a cruise ship with an inside cabin. Staff were very friendly and public transport tickets during the full stay were included. I will be coming back here again, as the location and breakfast buffet was perfect.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this hotel. We stayed for 6 nights and each of them exceeded our expectations. The front staff (Selasi, Olivia) were remarkable and personalized everything to our benefit. We felt welcomed and like family. The hotel itself is large, looks clean, and the service is quick and efficient. There were Nespresso machines and pods in the room, and it was designed in a sleep minimalistic way with no frills. I'd highly recommend and will go back!

My husband and I spent two nights in a delightful room overlooking the garden and pool. The room was tastefully furnished in warm colours. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a perfect location  three tram stops from the main station. In future this will be our base in Bern.

Great location and service. The rooms are spacious and modern. A real nice hotel and so close to the historic district. A must stay. Just watch out which room you are reserving. The standard ones are in the atrium and they are looking at a wall. You need to pay more for a view, be it city or river view. I was fine with the atrium room since I spent most of my time sightseeing and not in the room.
