Mambo

Mambo club is currently going through repairs and is supposed to open officially in October of 2022 (along with a name change to Brigitte club), but the owner was wonderful and showed us to his bar along with a very cool hidden passageway. You could clearly tell he put a lot of hard work and thought into the aesthetic and vibe of this place, because it had the coolest features. Drink are a little expensive (around 20 franc for cocktails) but I would still recommend checking it out!

We got there around 1:30 am and were forced to wait about 5 -10 minutes outside in 40 degree weather because the club was “full”. When we got inside, I can pretty much confirm that we have different definitions to the term “full”. I don’t understand why we were forced to wait so long outside in the cold for no reason. I suppose it creates some sort of marketing illusion. The music was good but the DJ kept talking over the music and cutting the songs really short. Totally killed the vibe. One drink was 19 and a shot was 8. The second floor was closed that night so I can’t  comment on it. The coat hanging spot was about 3.50, which is the average charge, however, it was located next to the smoking area and now all of our coats reek of cigarette smell. The girls bathroom was flooded and so it got closed down.

It is a disco club that you would enjoy. The ambiance the sounds is really cool and the people who works in there specially the guards are very friendly and approachable. Lastly the crowd were also friendly as of my experience.

Nice place to dance salsa and kizomba in a busy zone with lots of pubs an restaurants at an affordable price.
